Each of the four rooms at Serendipity Country House & Restaurant opens onto a shared balcony overlooking the Touw River and provides air conditioning, underfloor heating, and a flat-screen satellite TV. Rooms are stocked with a complimentary minibar that includes a decanter of port, and the beds are dressed in percale fine linen. All rooms also have a seating area and tea and coffee making facilities with a bar fridge.

Serendipity borders Wilderness National Park, giving guests direct access to hiking trails, the Touw River, and the Garden Route's beaches. The property provides canoes free of charge, allowing guests to paddle up the river to the waterfall. Nearby beaches and the Outeniqua Transport Museum are within a short drive from the guest house.
